Visa

In order to teach in Korea you need to have an E2 visa. This process takes a few weeks to set up (due to the speed of the international mail service). Upon your acceptance of a job offer we will need a number of documents form you to obtain you visa. The best way to send these is through Federal Express, which takes about three to five business days.

1. Your original diploma or a copy certified by your nearest Korean consulate (While it may sound odd, it is faster to send the orginal.)
2. A photocopy of the picture and information page of your passport.
3. A signed copy of the schools contract.

After we have received these documents, we will mail you a form so that you can obtain your visa. You must take this form to a Korean Consulate in your country before leaving your country (see below). You will need to take you passport and leave it overnight for this and there is a small fee, but again I did not have any problems with this process.
